Galavan is dedicated to ensuring that lack of affordable transportation is not a barrier to individual independence.

  • When Galavan joined forces with Streamline in 2006, Galavan became Streamline’s paratransit service as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

  • Since 1973, Galavan has provided door-to-door transportation service for seniors and persons with disabilities.

  • Galavan provides service to residents of Bozeman and the surrounding communities.

  • Galavan partners with Streamline for Latenight service on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Pre-arranged drop-off and pick-up is available within ¾ mile of the Latenight bus routes for seniors or persons with disabilities who are unable to access the regular stops.

Call 587-2434 by 3:00 PM the day before your trip to schedule a ride.

Eligibility
You can ride Galavan if you are over 59 or have a disability.

Many seniors and people with disabilities are able to use the regular Streamline fixed route system; the Galavan office can assist in understanding how to use Streamline.

Galavan is dispatched out of the Bozeman Senior Center, 807 North Tracy in Bozeman. We will accommodate passengers to the best of our ability.

Hours and Days of Service

  • Within Bozeman city limits:
    Monday - Friday
    7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

  • Within ¾ mile of Latenight routes:
    Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
    9:30 PM to 3:00 AM. 

  • Belgrade: Tuesdays and Fridays
    8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

  • Manhattan and Three Forks: Tuesdays
    8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
